Kashipur: 22-year-old shot in lower abdomen during dispute in a field, referred to Delhi; police say it is not yet clear how he was shot, no complaint received

A 22-year-old man from Gulzarpur village, in the Kundeshwari police outpost area of Kashipur kotwali, was shot during a dispute in a field at about 9 am on Friday. According to Amar Ujala, the bullet hit him in the lower abdomen and he was seriously injured. His family took him to a private hospital at Chamunda, from where he was referred to Delhi. On getting the information, kotwal Harendra Chaudhary and SSI Naveen Budhani reached the hospital. CO Prashant Kumar said the incident is being investigated and CCTV cameras in the area are being checked. According to police, it is not yet clear how the young man was shot, and no complaint has been received so far. The report does not say who the dispute was with or what it was about.
