By using the Rudrapur City website or app (rudrapurcity.com) you accept these terms, our privacy policy (rudrapurcity.com/privacy) and our editorial policy (rudrapurcity.com/editorial-policy). If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

This service is run by an independent publisher based in Rudrapur (Dipanker shah). Reading and using it is free.

We try hard to keep information accurate, but mistakes, delays and changes can happen. All information on the site is provided "as is", without any warranty.

• Check with the official source before you act on anything, especially phone numbers (numbers change), dates and times of events and festivals, job and recruitment conditions and last dates, power and water cut timings, and opening hours of hospitals and offices.
• Do not rely on this site in an emergency. Call 112 immediately.
• Weather information is a forecast and can be wrong. For weather warnings, follow notices from the India Meteorological Department (IMD) and the district administration.
• News from feeds belongs to the original publishers, who are responsible for its accuracy.
• An answer the AI writes on "Ask" is built from this site's information, but its wording can be wrong. It is not legal, medical or any other professional advice. Rely on the cards under the answer, and check anything important with the official source.

Never pay money or a registration fee for a job.

We are not a recruitment agency. We do not guarantee any job and are not part of any dealings between an employer and a candidate. Check the company yourself before applying. If anyone asks for money, tell us, and report cyber fraud to the National Cyber Crime Helpline 1930 or at https://cybercrime.gov.in.

• Offers, prices, conditions and details of places for rent are the lister's own (the shop, owner or broker). We make a basic check by phone before publishing, but we do not guarantee them. Look and ask for yourself before you buy or rent.
• Rudrapur City is not a broker and is not a party to any deal. We never charge anyone a fee, token money, deposit or booking charge — neither tenants or customers nor owners. If anyone asks for money in our name, do not pay and tell us.
• Never send token money or an advance online before you have seen the place. Check the owner's ID and the property papers, and always do the police tenant verification (किरायेदार सत्यापन).
• "For whom" on a rent listing is chosen only from fixed options. Writing any condition based on religion, caste, community, region or food habits is not allowed; such a listing is not published, or is removed.
• Whoever sends a listing confirms that the information is true, that the place really is available or the offer is their own shop's, and that the photos are their own or theirs to use.
• We may decline to publish, ask for changes to, or remove any listing at any time, sponsored ones included.
• Keep the listing's manage link safe: whoever holds it can extend or close the listing. Only the editor edits a listing; to ask for a change, send the "गलती बताएं" (report a mistake) form.

• Every price, size, colour, stock level, photo, delivery promise and claim in the bazaar is the shop's own. We check every shop by phone once before it is added, but we guarantee no item, price or shop.
• Rudrapur City is not a party to any sale: we take no payment, no order, no delivery and no commission. The deal, the payment, any exchange or return are between you and the shop. Never send money in advance without seeing the item.
• These may not be listed in the bazaar: alcohol; tobacco, gutkha, vapes; medicines, supplements or anything with health-cure claims; weapons (beyond ordinary kitchen knives); firecrackers; gambling or lottery; adult products; live animals; "first copy" or fake branded goods; and anything illegal.
• Whoever adds a shop confirms that it is their own shop and that they will list only its real stock, at the right prices, with their own photos (or photos they may use). Do not share your PIN with anyone: every change made with the PIN is taken as the shop's.
• We may hide any item without notice (the shop owner sees the reason in "मेरी दुकान", my shop), suspend or close any shop, and revoke a shop owner's login — sponsored shops included.
• A "प्रायोजित" (Sponsored) shop is only shown first; it is not our recommendation of any shop or item. If something is wrong, use "गलत जानकारी? बताएं" (report wrong information) on the shop's or the item's page.

The site links to newspapers, government websites, Google Maps, WhatsApp and other websites. We have no control over their content, services or privacy policies. A link does not mean we endorse them.

• Send only what is true and what you know first-hand or have from a reliable source.
• Do not send another person's phone number or personal details without their permission.
• You must be 18 or older to send information through the forms.
• The editor reviews every submission. Publishing, shortening, editing or not publishing it is the editor's decision. There is no guarantee that a submission will be published.
• Repeated or automated (bot) form submissions are not allowed. Only a limited number of submissions can be sent per hour.

By sending information you give us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide permission to publish it on this website and app, in push notifications, in the "रुद्रपुर आज" (Rudrapur Today) WhatsApp digest and on our social-media pages, to shorten or edit it as needed, and to share it.

You keep your rights in the content. By sending it you also confirm that you have the right to send it and have it published.

To have published information removed, contact us and we will remove it from the site. Anything already shared (such as a WhatsApp digest or notification already sent) cannot be recalled.

You must not send, or try to get published, any of the following:

• False news, rumours or deliberately misleading information
• Anything that incites hatred or violence against a religion, caste, community, language or region
• Defamation, threats, harassment or insults against anyone
• The identity of a victim of a sexual offence or of a child involved in any case
• Obscene material, or anyone's private photos or personal details without their permission
• Information sent in someone else's name
• Political advertising, election campaigning or paid news
• Job adverts that ask for fees, fraud, lotteries or chain messages
• Other people's copyrighted material (such as a newspaper's full story or photos) without permission
• Viruses, spam, tampering with the site's security, or automated activity that overloads the site
• Anything that breaks any law in force in India

• If any content on the site seems unlawful, infringes your privacy or copyright, or is untrue about you, follow the steps on the Grievance page (rudrapurcity.com/grievance): send the page link, what the problem is and how to reach you.
• We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to communicate a decision within 15 days. Where needed, content is hidden immediately while we review it.
• Such content will be removed and, in serious cases, the relevant authorities may be informed as the law allows.
• A publisher who wants its headlines and links removed, or shown differently, can use the same process.

• The name "Rudrapur City", the site's design and the content we write belong to us. To share something, share its link.
• News headlines and links belong to their original publishers. Weather data is from Open-Meteo (CC BY 4.0). Details are on the Sources page (rudrapurcity.com/sources).

• To the extent the law allows, Rudrapur City and its publisher are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on information on the site, any external link, any job or event, any dealings with a third party, or the site being unavailable or slow.
• This is a free service. We do not guarantee that it will run without interruption or error. We may change, suspend or discontinue any feature without prior notice.
• Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under law that cannot be excluded by agreement.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The competent courts at Udham Singh Nagar (Uttarakhand) have jurisdiction over any dispute.

We may change these terms from time to time. The date of the change will be shown on this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
