Rudrapur: Woman alleges AI image showing sindoor on her was sent to her family, also complains of stalking up to Noida and assault; case registered on court order

A young woman from the Transit Camp area of Rudrapur has accused a young man of stalking, misbehaviour, assault and sending her family an AI-made image. According to Amar Ujala, she said in her application to the court that she ended a friendship made at coaching when she learned he was married and had a child. He is then alleged to have stalked her and threatened to defame her on social media. She says her family sent her to Noida, but the accused reached there too and beat her during night duty. It is alleged that on October 1 he used AI to make an image showing sindoor in her hair parting, sent it to her family and threatened suicide if she did not marry him. She says complaints to the police station on October 7 and the SSP on October 9 brought no action. CO Vibhav Saini said a case has been registered on the court's order.
