Four wheels of the second wagon of an NMG goods train came off the track during shunting in the Haldi yard near Haldi railway station, in the Pantnagar area on the Kathgodam–Rampur section, at about 11.24 am on Monday (Hindustan). The goods train was loaded with Tata tempos and was being moved from line number four to line number three. Dainik Bhaskar and ETV Bharat reported that two wagons derailed. No casualties were reported. With rail traffic disrupted, the Shatabdi Express had to be stopped at Rudrapur.
