Non-veg delivered online despite meat ban: trade body chief Sanjay Juneja places order to test, demands rule apply to big outlets and online sellers too

The Rudrapur Municipal Corporation has ordered meat shops and establishments serving meat to stay shut during Sharadiya Navratri, but questions are being raised about how it is being enforced. According to Dainik Bhaskar, Vyapar Mandal (trade body) president Sanjay Juneja ordered non-veg food online to check the reality, and it was delivered to him. Juneja asked how online supply is continuing when the sale of non-veg is banned during Navratri. He said the rules should apply equally to all traders, and to big establishments and online sellers just as to small shopkeepers.
