Kichha: four-wheelers and e-rickshaws barred from main market between DD Chowk and Maharana Pratap Chowk from November 7 to 9 for Diwali

In view of the festival rush, entry of four-wheelers and e-rickshaws into Kichha's main market from DD Chowk to Maharana Pratap Chowk will be completely closed from Saturday (November 7) to Monday (November 9). According to Hindustan, this was stated at a meeting with traders in the kotwali premises on Monday, chaired by tehsildar Girish Chandra Tripathi. CO DL Verma asked traders to set up shops only up to the marked space along the road, jewellers to install CCTV cameras inside and outside their shops, and firecracker sellers to set up at designated places and follow fire safety rules. The report gives no dates, only 'three days from Saturday'; November 7 to 9 is worked out from that.
