Diwali bus to Delhi: 12 Rudrapur depot and 11 Kashipur depot buses on the route; about 100 Kumaon buses to make two trips a day

In view of the Diwali rush on the Delhi route, the transport corporation is planning for about 100 buses running from Kumaon to make two trips a day each. It has not said when this will start. According to Amar Ujala, after the ban on BS-4 buses in Delhi, five buses of the Rudrapur depot have been taken off the route and 12 are running; five buses of the Kashipur depot have also been taken off and 11 are running. Together with Haldwani and Kathgodam, these four depots have 61 buses for Delhi. General manager (operations) Kranti Singh said contracted CNG buses are being run on the Delhi route and 59 new buses will soon be added to the fleet. If you plan to travel around the festival, ask the depot about the bus and timing in advance.
