Rudrapur Medical College gets five new doctors: more faculty in anaesthesia and surgery, more operations possible

Four assistant professors and one senior resident appointed by the government have joined the Government Medical College, Rudrapur. According to Principal Dr CP Bhaisora, Dr Kaushal Pandey has joined as assistant professor in anaesthesia, Dr Sonali Thomas in anatomy, Dr Kunal Sharma in pharmacology and Dr Dipankar Nayal in surgery, while Dr Mohammad Aamir Khan is a senior resident in general medicine. More faculty in anaesthesia and surgery will mean more operations, including complex ones; care in the emergency and wards will improve. According to the principal, this will also help MBBS teaching, NMC norms, recognition of PG seats and the problem of referring patients. (Source: Amar Ujala)
