Two hit-and-runs in Rudrapur: SIDCUL workers Pushkar and Santosh Roy killed, police hunt for the vehicles

Two men who worked at different companies in SIDCUL were killed in separate road accidents in Rudrapur on Friday night. In neither case have the vehicle or its driver been traced yet. Pushkar (45), son of Jagmohan Singh, a resident of Jainagar No. 2, Dineshpur, and originally from Pauri, was returning on his scooter after duty when it was hit near SIDCUL Chowk (according to Dainik Bhaskar, by a truck). Doctors declared him dead at the hospital. In the second accident, Santosh Roy (40), a resident of Jagatpura Ward No. 5 and originally from Puranpur in Pilibhit, was walking home in the evening when an unidentified vehicle hit him near the Chandipur cremation ground. He was declared dead at the district hospital. He leaves behind a 21-year-old daughter and a 16-year-old son.
