The cyber crime police station of Palwal in Haryana raided Rudrapur on November 2 and arrested four accused in a Rs 90,000 UPI fraud case. According to Haribhoomi, a resident of Palwal's Hathin area complained that Rs 90,000 was transferred from their bank account through UPI on July 22, 2026. Of this, Rs 50,000 went to one account and Rs 40,000 to another. The victim had complained on cyber helpline 1930. Police said two people were caught first on the basis of bank accounts and technical evidence, and their two associates after questioning. The court has sent all four to police remand for 2 days. Police are questioning them about the money trail, the use of the accounts and others in the network. The report does not say whether the accused live in Rudrapur. These are still allegations and have not been proved in court.
