Rudrapur: shopkeepers removed from Vishwakarma Market near Roadways stage dharna, ask Nagar Nigam and administration for alternative shops before festivals
रुद्रपुर: रोडवेज के पास विश्वकर्मा मार्केट से हटाए गए दुकानदार धरने पर, त्योहारों से पहले नगर निगम और प्रशासन से वैकल्पिक दुकानें देने की मांग

Shopkeepers removed from Vishwakarma Market near the Roadways bus stand in Rudrapur during an anti-encroachment drive have started a dharna demanding rehabilitation (Dainik Bhaskar). They have asked the Nagar Nigam and the district administration to provide alternative shops or space soon so they can restart their business. They allege that they were promised rehabilitation before the encroachment was removed, but no concrete step has been taken so far. Shopkeeper Ramesh Kalra, sitting on the dharna, said the demolition of the shops has deepened a livelihood crisis for the traders, and the approaching festival season has made it worse, as this is the most important time for business. The traders hoped the Nagar Nigam and the district administration would consider their demand seriously and decide soon. Bhaskar's report does not include the Nagar Nigam's or the administration's side. (Source: Dainik Bhaskar)
