AC outdoor unit stolen from atop salon in Rudrapur market, Vyapar Mandal demands more night patrols; warns of agitation if no action

Thieves made off with an air-conditioner outdoor unit installed above Unique Salon in a Rudrapur market (Dainik Bhaskar). After the incident, Vyapar Mandal president Sanjay Juneja inspected the spot with traders and asked the police to tighten security in the market and step up night patrols. Juneja said the festival season has begun, so the security of shops is essential. He said traders had also asked for more night patrolling at a recent meeting with police officers, but there is still not enough patrolling at night. He warned that if the police do not step up patrols and surveillance in time, traders will be forced to launch an agitation. (Source: Dainik Bhaskar)
