Youth in Khatima makes false Dial 112 call claiming he killed his parents; police find both safe at home, he was upset over not getting money

Late on Tuesday evening in Khatima, a young man called Dial 112 and said he had killed his parents and the police should come quickly. According to Dainik Jagran, senior sub-inspector KC Arya, sub-inspector Rakesh Rai and other police personnel rushed to Khetalsanda Kham and found the young man's parents safe at home. During questioning, the young man said he had been asking his parents for money for his expenses; when they refused, there was an argument and he gave the false information to 112 to harass them. Senior sub-inspector Arya said the young man has been detained under Section 170 of the BNSS on the charge of misleading the police with false information on an emergency number like Dial 112.
