82 beneficiaries selected under PM Awas Yojana-2 in Gularbhoj: Rs 2.75 lakh sanctioned for each, first instalment of Rs 20,000 sent to bank accounts

Eighty-two homeless families in the Gularbhoj nagar panchayat area have been selected under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-2 to build houses. According to Amar Ujala and Jagran, Rs 2.75 lakh has been sanctioned for each beneficiary and a first instalment of Rs 20,000 each has been sent online to their bank accounts. At a programme on the nagar panchayat premises, chairman Satish Chugh said the step followed the nagar panchayat's proposal and the demand of homeless families. State general secretary Gunjan Sukhija handed out scheme certificates to the beneficiaries. The report does not say when the remaining instalments will be paid.
