Rudrapur: Congress protests on Indra Chowk–bus stand road dug up a year ago, warns of locking PWD office if work does not start soon

The road from Indra Chowk to the bus stand on the Rudrapur–Nainital main road was dug up for construction about a year ago but has still not been built. In protest, Congress workers sat in a pit on the dug-up road on Friday and raised slogans against the government. Congress members allege that vehicles fall into the deep pits along the road almost every day and passers-by get hurt. PCC member Mohan Kheda said leaders had made big claims about building the road a year ago, but the work is still incomplete.
