65 cyber fraud complaints from 18 states against bank account of Rudrapur firm 'Khalsa Digital Studio'; case against account's three signatories

Police have registered a case against the three authorised signatories of the bank account of Rudrapur firm Khalsa Digital Studio after 65 cyber fraud complaints from 18 states were found against the account. According to Dainik Bhaskar, ASI Ramesh Chandola of Transit Camp kotwali said the complaints, on the Home Ministry's Samanvay portal and the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal, come from 18 states including Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, Kerala, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Tamil Nadu. The three signatories are brothers who live in Jainagar. Police are collecting the account's KYC, account-opening application and transaction details from the bank to trace where the money came from and where it finally went. CO City Vibhav Saini said only after examining the complaints and bank records will it be clear whether the three had any role in the cyber fraud; registration of a case does not mean the allegations are proved.
